Medik8 Crystal Retinal is a vitamin A night serum range designed to be used gradually. If you’re new to vitamin A, starting at a lower strength and building up slowly helps your skin adjust more comfortably.

As a simple guide: start low if you’re new, move to a mid strength if you already use retinol/retinal, and only choose higher strengths if you’re very experienced and your skin tolerates vitamin A well.

Use at night on dry skin, then moisturise. Start 2–3 nights per week, then increase frequency as tolerated. Always wear SPF daily. If your skin feels dry or irritated, reduce frequency and focus on moisturising. Avoid vitamin A products during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a clinician.
